What will you do?

  • Exercise extreme ownership and lead our Learning and Development team, strategies and programs.
  • Collaborate with team leads across all teams to conduct a comprehensive training needs analysis, ensuring a clear understanding of technical contexts and identifying knowledge gaps effectively.
  • Plan and organize talks and training sessions, deliver impactful learning programs, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Design and Development of Learning Programs: build and maintain learning programs for new employee onboarding and project/team onboarding.
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees leverage learning opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers (for paid training), external/internal speakers (for talks), software companies (for LMS and related support), and internal stakeholders for alignment.
  • Design and implement career ladders for various roles.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership to help team members grow through defined engineering ladders.
  • Incorporate relevant functions to support succession planning within the organization.
  • Develop metrics to track the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programs, while managing the budget for optimal resource allocation.
  • Support engineering ops where needed and remain adaptable enough to take on a variety of tasks across the organization.


What are we looking for in you?

  • 5+ Years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Well-proficient with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
  • Ability to build rapport with employees, leadership, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of DEI principles and the ability to incorporate them into L&D programs.
  • BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in learning and development (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
