Legal Case Manager

Job Summary:
The Legal Case Manager at Cedars Business Services is responsible for the efficient review and placement of debt collection files with partner attorney offices. This role involves closely monitoring the progress of legal actions, coordinating with legal customer service representatives (CSRs), and collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth liquidation of accounts. The Legal Case Manager plays a crucial role in maximizing recovery rates and ensuring that legal processes are followed promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
File Review and Placement:
- Review and assess debt collection files to determine their eligibility for legal action.
- Identify appropriate partner attorney offices based on case specifics and ensure accurate placement of files for legal proceedings.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included in the files before they are sent to attorneys
Attorney Liaison:
- Maintain regular communication with assigned attorney offices to monitor the progress of cases.
- Follow up with attorneys to obtain updates on the status of legal actions, settlements, or judgements.
- Address any issues or delays that may arise in the legal process, working to resolve them promptly.
Coordination with Legal CSRs and Other Departments:
- Collaborate with legal CSRs to provide updates on the status of cases and to address any inquiries or concerns.
- Work closely with other departments, such as compliance, CSM, and accounting, to ensure all aspects of file liquidation are handled efficiently.
- Participate in regular meetings with internal teams and clients to discuss case progress and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and actions taken regarding legal cases.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of files, highlighting key milestones and any challenges encountered.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Location: The Enterprise Building, Multan Road Lahore
Timing: 9pm to 6am
Salary Bracket: 135K
