Legal Counsel - Corporate

The Legal Counsel (Corporate) will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and advice across various business areas, including Mobility, Lubricants, and Trading & Supply (T&S). This role requires expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be required to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments to create business value and manage risks effectively. The key responsibilities of this role will be:

• Draft and review a variety of contracts to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and effectively manage potential risks

.• Provide legal advice to across businesses and functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Contracting and Procurement, Customer Operations, and Corporate Relations, to support the company’s strategic initiatives and operations

.• Provide advice on the development and implementation of new business models, marketing and advertising campaigns, and the procurement of goods and services

.• Provide independent legal advice on specialized areas such as Anti-trust laws, Trade Controls, Intellectual Property (IP), and Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) matters

.• Represent the company in meetings with regulatory bodies, forums, and other external stakeholders as required

.• Support Ethics and Compliance related tasks including advising on the Code of Conduct, coordinating with external solution providers, and conducting trainings
