What You'll Do
- Optimize Google Business Profiles to drive Map Pack visibility
- Create and optimize location and service pages with well-researched briefs
- Execute on-page SEO for local intent: titles, headings, schema, internal linking, topical coverage
- Plan and manage off-page SEO: citations, NAP consistency, local link outreach, brand mentions
- Research local keywords and competitor landscapes to shape strategy
- Implement internal and external linking strategies to improve authority and relevance
- Use AI tools to assist with outlines, content optimization, and QA
- Run QA checks on pages and posts to ensure all SEO and topical requirements are met
- Publish GBP posts, manage products/services, and track Q&A and reviews
- Monitor performance in GSC, GA4, GBP Insights, and report clear wins and opportunities
- 2+ years in SEO with proven local SEO results
- Strong grasp of SEO best practices, including local ranking factors
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Proficiency with SEO tools and AI-assisted content workflows
- Outstanding English writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with CMS and basic HTML is a plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a US-based team on EST
- WordPress knowledge
- Google Docs & Sheets proficiency
