About the Role

We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to be a part of our expanding team in the Pakistan! The role focuses on the day-to-day support of the logistics team, playing a key part in ensuring customers receive their orders in a smooth manner. This will include owning a range of tasks that support the team, from shipping goods from our factories through to working with 3PLs and internal teams on both B2C and B2B orders. We’ll be asking you to hit the ground running, learning the ins and outs of our Logistics function, getting to grips with our ERP system and working with stakeholders such as 3PLs to provide Logistics related support across the business.

Please note that this role will be situated at our office in Lahore (Upper Mall), working on-site from Monday-Thursday, with Friday being an optional WFH day. The normal working hours will be 10am - 7pm PKT but may require some occasional flexibility due to working with stakeholders based in China, UK and US.

About You

As a Logistics Assistant at Mous, you'll work collaboratively with our Logistics and Operations team. You will report directly to Emma, our Logistics and Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in driving our projects to successful completion with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Logistics manager in daily tasks, providing administrative support.
  • Owning day to day 3PL reporting and troubleshooting on order fulfilment, stock and any issues that may crop up.
  • Supporting the freight team, especially over peak, with the scheduling and tracking of stock shipments.
  • Creating marketplaces stock transfers on our ERP system and marketplaces platforms, liaising with 3PLs, tracking shipments, updating various trackers. Working on the ERP system to release shipments and assign invoicing and landed costs.
  • Responsible for tracking B2B orders, updating trackers and providing updates for the retail team. Supporting with ad-hoc tasks such as quoting for shipping costs and creating shipping labels.
  • Supporting with reporting on weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and KPI tracking.
  • Ad-hoc tasks such as analysis and supporting the Customer Experience team with any large-scale shipping queries or trends.

How will success be measured?

Skills Requirements

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with areas of logistics such as freight, shipping or 3PL/warehouse management is a big plus, but not essential - enthusiasm to learn is key!
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan your work according to team priorities, business priorities, deadlines.
  • Confidence in working in Excel.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems or platforms like Shopify is advantageous but not required.
  • A problem-solving attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
