The role holder will have a vital role in modernizing and optimizing our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that bridge the gap between traditional and cloud-based systems. • Architect and implement data solutions on cloud platforms on GCP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and modernize legacy data systems
• Develop ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards
• Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows to improve performance
• Provide technical expertise in data-related projects and initiatives

• Proven experience in cloud-based data engineering in GCP
• Solid understanding of legacy data systems and experience in modernization efforts
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) for data engineering tasks
• Strong SQL skills and expertise in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
• Experience with data integration tools and frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in working in a fast paced agile environment
