Manager Accounts & Finance

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Accounts & Finance to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience managing end-to-end financial processes in a fast-paced business environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable,
• general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting
• standards and company policies.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
• Monitor budget performance, highlight variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding taxes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and filings.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.
• Manage banking relationships, oversee payments, and ensure efficient fund utilization.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within accounting functions.
• Implement accounting best practices and digital tools to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring timely deliverables and professional development.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA / CA / CMA qualification
• preferred).
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting and ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
