What's in it for you
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly financial reports. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for comprehensive reporting.
- Quarterly Reporting: Lead the preparation of quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance reviews. Provide insights and recommendations based on quarterly financial results. Ensure compliance with reporting standards and internal controls.
- Budget Management:Develop, monitor, and manage the estimates and budget for the vertical. Work with department heads to gather and validate budget inputs. Analyze budget performance and implement adjustments as needed to meet financial goals. Monitoring Budgets and working on Forecasting with relevant stakeholders including variance analysis and reasons for the variances.
- Coordinating with Regional and Central Teams over various Finance and Business matters: Act as the primary liaison between the platform operations and the regional and central finance team. Ensure effective communication and alignment on financial processes, policies, and goals. Facilitate the exchange of information and support central team initiatives as required.
- Opportunity Analysis: Identify and evaluate new financial opportunities and strategic initiatives. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes. Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and growth.
- Operational Risk Identification:Assess and identify potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies. Collaborate with risk management teams to address and resolve financial risks.
- Visibility to the stakeholders: Ensuring daily level, vendor level and performance based visibility to the stakeholders.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of financial tasks and responsibilities within the vertical and act as Business Support partner. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial processes and deliverables.
- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA).
- Total 7-8 years of work experience.
- Passionate about facilitating Business, exploring new ideas and providing relevant support from Finance end.
- You are comfortable using various tech tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.)
- Highly organized and self-disciplined, able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritized way
- Extremely analytical, data-driven & with a keen eye on process improvement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude is the cornerstone of your personality.
