Manager Finance and Taxation - Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all tax laws such as filing of income tax returns/sales tax returns/provincial returns as well as withholding statements and quarterly advance tax submissions
• Ensure compliance with all the conditions as applicable and as required to obtain tax credit
• Ensure appropriate deduction of withholding taxes as applicable on payments
• Supervise preparation of Financial Statements as per IFRS and local laws including finalizing disclosures
• Resolution of taxation issues, coordination with tax consultants and tax authorities for notices received.
• Management of Receivable & Payable functions including payroll & benefits processing
• Dealing with regulatory authorities such as SECP, SBP and EOBI etc. Provide training opportunities to junior team members
• Provide solutions on risk management

Requirements:

• Minimum CA.
• 5 - 6 years of relevant experience ideally in manufacturing industry
• Sound knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
• Sound managerial skills
• Sound organizational skills and attention to detail
