Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai/Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server and related database technologies, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize MS SQL databases and ensure data integrity and security.
• Write complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for application development.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring maximum uptime and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to define data requirements and implement database solutions.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and backup/recovery operations.
• Implement and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide support for production systems, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Document database architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Stay updated with emerging database technologies and integrate them where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft Certification in SQL Server (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS SQL Server (2016 and above).
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL programming and performance tuning.
• Experience with database design, indexing, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Knowledge of database replication, mirroring, and clustering.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of version control systems like Git.
