About The Role

As a Packaging Technologist at Reckitt, you are on the frontline of transforming ideas into reality. Your scientific talent will be crucial in driving our operations across various pillars, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed our rigorous standards. Your work will contribute to the resilience and advancement of our ambitious portfolio, within an environment that values growth and learning.

Your responsibilities

Joining a global team, you’ll be responsible for managing all packaging development for one of our leading brands or even a whole category. You’ll:

• Drive packaging development from concept to launch
• Ensure design ideas are accurately developed into innovative packaging and devices
• Protect our products, optimise costs, raise quality and ensure we meet regulatory standards
• Help launch new products and enhance existing brands
• Make our packaging more sustainable and our products more desirable.
  
  

The experience we're looking for

• Engineer (Mechanical Stream Preferred)/Computer Engineering
• Over 0-1 years’ experience in FMCG environments
• Expertise in programming tools such as Python, MATLAB etc.
• Technical knowledge of packaging materials, specifications, and related processes
• Basic knowledge of Manufacturing technology (both on the making of the packaging components as well as the related filling and packing technology and any other packaging technologies i.e. printing, aerosols, laminates, etc. will be an added advantage
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize work and resources appropriate to requirements
• Effectively adapt to change in work situations, taking initiative to ensure clear, timely and well executed action
• Ability to self-motivate and motivate others
• Ability to achieve set goals and targets
• Ambitious and flexible.
• Good Communication skill
• Works effectively multifunctional teams
• Analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect details data, analyze and interpret results. Preferably having had an experience using PowerBI
