About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Power BI Specialist to join our data analytics team. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
- Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation using Power Query and DAX
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and define KPIs
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
- Optimize performance and usability of Power BI solutions
- Implement row-level security and access control within reports
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across reports
- Create and maintain technical documentation for reports and processes
- Train and support end-users in understanding and utilizing Power BI tools
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling best practices
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Excel, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams integrations
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and version control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
