Job Purpose:

To monitor and enhance plant operational efficiency, productivity, and excellence by optimizing processes within the scope of Operational Excellence Initiatives, while adhering to regulatory standards and NFL’s polices.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes for each plant, pinpointing inefficiencies and areas in need of enhancement
  • Design, develop, and implement novel processes and modifications to existing ones to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize overall productivity.
  • Assist in conducting root cause analyses of persistent issues, supplying the Operational Excellence Manager with essential data for well-informed decision-making.
  • Engage with machine operators and ground staff to garner feedback and insights on processes, making adjustments based on their hands-on experience and expertise.
  • Assess the potential risks associated with process amendments, ensuring all conceivable challenges are identified and addressed before broad implementation.
  • Track, oversee, review, and report on the deployment of approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure process uniformity.
  • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) mechanisms in manufacturing as an integral component of NFL’s ongoing enhancement projects, striving to consistently meet product specifications whilst minimizing waste and scrap.
  • Tackle operational obstacles spanning from machinery and material to process-related challenges, ensuring sustained productivity.
  • Ensure all alterations to processes comply with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and NFL’s quality benchmarks.
  • Present findings and actionable insights to the Operational Excellence Manager and other pertinent stakeholders.
  • Keep updated on the latest developments process engineering and operational excellence to ensure NFL adopts best practices consistently.


Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 3-5 years of experience.

Or

  • Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 1-2 years of experience.
