About the Company
We're an invite-only network focused on connecting, supporting, and growing high-caliber Product Management leaders. Our members are in the top 0.5% of product leaders globally, and work as Product Leads, Group PMs, Directors, VPs and Heads of Product from some of the world’s best technology companies, including Stripe, Uber, Shopify, and Google. We’re on a mission to help ambitious product leaders accelerate their careers through peer learning and support.
Our flagship offering is a monthly 90-minute curated peer group, complete with executive coaching, that helps product leaders create lasting behavioral change, clarify decision-making, learn, and network with incredibly accomplished peers. We’re built on an exclusive Slack community and host in-person meetups and events in ten different US cities, including a speaker series and round-table discussions.
Our founder has extensive product leadership experience, having worked at Asana through its IPO, and building a product function within a HeathTech company.
Since we launched 2 years ago, our community membership has grown to 320+ members. We now host 30+ events a month and have 20 executive coaches working with groups. Our focus on quality and intimacy sets us apart. We’ve been profitable since day one, have just launched a podcast, and are on track to continue to grow.
About the Role
We're looking for a remote Operations Associate to support the growth and operational excellence of our community. This role is ideal for someone passionate about streamlining operations, coordinating peer learning sessions, and maintaining effective communication within a prestigious network of top product managers.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the logistics for our peer learning groups, using data to optimize our operational systems, and ensuring well-organized event logistics. You'll also manage our Slack community, and coordinate online and in-person events. That said, this is not a marketing role – this is an operations role. Your efforts will significantly influence our community's ability to network, learn, and grow effectively. This position calls for excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE is an experienced professional with 3-6+ years in roles such as Operations, Community Building, Product Operations, Executive Assistance, or as a Chief of Staff. You have a deep passion for product management, a strong understanding of business principles, and a customer-first mentality. Your strengths include excellent prioritization, proactive, highly responsive communication (over Slack, email), and the ability to creatively solve problems while managing up to your manager and across to your teammates, to keep information flowing and projects unblocked. You’re process-oriented, analytical, and thrive on solving hard problems, consistently demonstrating reliability and a keen ability to foresee potential issues. Your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail help keep you organized, letting you manage your time effectively, and setting you to succeed under pressure. You have good judgment, seek increasing initiative and responsibility, and are excited to drive substantial improvements within our community. You’re probably an early adopter of modern web tools and are pretty adept with a spreadsheet. With a concise, effective, high-EQ communication style, you’re hungry to engage with and significantly impact a network of the world's top product leaders in the next stage of your career. Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet operational targets, enhance member satisfaction, and proactively improve community engagement and value. You’ll work across our team, and interact with our community members. This position reports to one of our operations managers.
You’ll be doing things like:
Online Community Operations: Managing our community Slack group; triaging new applicants; onboarding new members and coaches; organizing community learning resources; monitoring conversations and identifying opportunities for support; answering FAQs and escalating issues; pattern-matching to facilitate meaningful 1:1 introductions between community members based on common challenges and profiles.
Peer Group Logistics: Organizing monthly peer groups with executive coaches; preparing coaches for sessions; capturing session notes and sharing them with the community; compiling feedback and sharing it with coaches. Online and In-Person Event Coordination: Organizing in-person events in the USA (i.e. round-table discussions, virtual and in-person meetups); managing outreach, RSVPs, and follow-ups; collecting feedback. Other Operations & Admin: Capturing internal meeting notes; overseeing task follow-ups; keeping our CRM updated and organized; basic financial analysis, process automation; providing other growth and sales support.
