Project and Cost Accountant (Chartered Accountant - CA)

Job Purpose:

We are hiring a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in project accounting and cost control. Candidates with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) will be given preference. This role will focus on accurate project costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost forecasts
• Track actual vs. budgeted costs, analyze variances, and suggest corrective actions
• Allocate direct and indirect costs across projects accurately
• Generate financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to projects
• Conduct profitability analysis and cost optimization reviews
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards and internal company policies
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Finance, and Operations teams
• Support system implementations and enhancements in D365 Finance, especially in project accounting modules
• Assist with audit activities and prepare necessary documentation
• Recommend and implement process improvements for better cost control and reporting

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) Certification (Mandatory).
• 5–7+ years of experience in project accounting, cost accounting, or financial reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
• Familiarity with ERP systems for project accounting.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
