Project Officer – Environment

• 18 years’ Degree in Environmental Sciences/Environmental Engineering/Botany/GIS/ Meteorology/Archaeology or in the relevant field from a recognized university.

• 02 years of Experience in Environmental Assessment and Monitoring / Biodiversity assessments/ climate change modeling.

• Conduct field visits for data collection, environmental monitoring, and assessment surveys.
• Handling of equipment in the field for data collection and assessment
• Data mining, regulations, plans and compliance documents to determine the impacts of pollution sources on the environment.
• Assist Senior Research Analyst in downloading and processing satellite data, development and implementing plans and projects to manage or mitigate for environmental impacts of proposed industrial clusters.
• Assist environment team in implementing tools and equipment’s in field/ different cities.
• Assist Senior Research Analyst in environmental and climate change assessment i.e. pollution hotspots, heatwave mapping, drought mapping, emission inventories etc.
• Must have basic knowledge of environmental quality monitoring equipment.
• Assist with the development and/or maintaining environmental databases and tools.
• Assist management with preparation of presentation and training materials, coaching, educating, and training.
