We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. This full-time, onsite position based at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore, requires a candidate skilled in both manual and automated testing to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure product quality
- Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality products
- Report bugs and issues clearly and track them through resolution
- Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
- Conduct regression, integration, performance, and usability testing
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to the development team
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cypress
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and usability
