Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality metrics to monitor improvements in project performance.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities to ensure deadlines are met.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers to identify, report, and resolve defects, ensuring bug-free project delivery.
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and align with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including test reports, defect logs, and issue tracking.
• Maintain proficiency with testing tools and stay updated on Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Provide insights on best practices and optimizations during the testing and bug-fixing processes.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience:
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
• Education:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Clickup, JIRA ) and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Adaptability and openness to learning new tools and technologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Self-driven, motivated, and able to take ownership of tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
