DigitalTolk is an organization and company that works to make an impact. Our purpose is to give a voice to those who don’t speak the local language; we arrange translators so that patients can get medical treatments in their new country and communicate with doctors. We arrange translators for crime victims so that they can get justice. Our job is to arrange interpreters through our platform for our customers.

Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who communicate with refugees and other people in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts for managing infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and store large datasets from various sources.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps and cloud engineering teams to implement and enhance AWS infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and scaling using Python and AWS services.
  • Develop, test, and optimize APIs and backend services to support infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing infrastructure code and scripts.

Key Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Python development with a focus on infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Cloud Formation, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts, experience with tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling infrastructure challenges.
  • Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
