ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking for a hardworking, committed and energetic person for the Scientific Sales Representative position based in our Lahore-Pakistan office. This position requires a hands-on, organized and detail- oriented person able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be comfortable making cold calls, outreach emails, and LinkedIn messages to engage with potential customers and apprise them of the technicalities of our products. Learning the technical details of our products and applications is a very critical part of supporting the North American sales team to conclude deals.


ROLE SUMMARY:

The IST is Formulatrix’s global inside-sales hub that qualifies leads, nurtures prospects, arranges technical demos, and hands off high-probability opportunities to field sales. IST members blend scientific understanding with sales skills to create excellent customer experiences and strong pipelines.

As a Scientific Sales Representative in the North America East Coast region, you will own prospect outreach, qualification calls, CRM system management, and cross-functional handoffs to Outside Sales and Support. You’ll translate researcher needs into product-relevant conversations and help close deals by generating well-qualified pipelines.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect, research, and qualify leads at identified target accounts (cold outreach via email/LinkedIn/phone).
  • Run technical product demos (live remote demos, recorded walkthroughs) for Formulatrix Filtration products.
  • Develop proposals / quotes in the CRM for potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and activity data in theCRM.
  • Coordinate with Applications, R&D, and Support to answer technical questions and organize validation/demo requests when needed.
  • Manage existing sales pipeline.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with the sales targets.
  • Develop strategies for lead generation to gain the maximum positive leads in a short span of time.
  • Take a lead role in the development of presentations and demonstrations for new business opportunities.
  • Have a sound knowledge of competitors in the market to be able to position and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Create maximum awareness of Formulatrix through email campaigns in your specified territory.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sciences, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in Life Sciences will be preferred.
  • Laboratory, Pharmaceutical & Medical Sales Experience will be preferred.
  • Strong English writing and oral communication skills.
  • Computer & Internet skills are compulsory.
  • Interpersonal Communication skills.
  • Customer Handling & negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work 45 hours per week.
