Security Engineer

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with the development team to conduct secure code reviews and implement best practices for secure coding.
• Conduct regular scanning of code base and applications for potential vulnerabilities and security issues
• Assist in the design and implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, and Supply Chain Security checks.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of security monitoring and alerting systems to identify and respond to security incidents in our cloud environment.
• Support the incident response process by aiding in the investigation and resolution of security incidents and breaches
• Work with 3rd party and AWS native security services to maintain compliance and a robust Cloud Security Posture Management.
• Assist in the deployment and management of EDR/XDR solutions for endpoint security. 
• Have a good knowledge of Security standards (SOC2 and HIPPA) and best practices being used in different industries. 
• Assist in R&D and implementing Security Automation tooling

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with relevant security services.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and experience with static code analysis tools (SAST).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Secure SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
