Job Description

As a Business/Market Intelligence Analyst at Kavak, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data to drive informed business decisions within the Growth team. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to align local and global objectives. You will be responsible for providing actionable insights that optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and support strategic decision-making. This role involves working closely with internal teams across multiple departments as well as with global counterparts, ensuring cohesive execution of strategies that fuel Kavak's expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, product) and global teams to identify key business questions and translate them into actionable analytics projects.
  • Perform data-driven analysis, leveraging insights from large datasets, including customer behavior, market trends, and competitor analysis, to support both local and global decision-making.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Deliver regular reports and presentations, aligning local growth strategies with global objectives and highlighting opportunities, risks, and trends to support business planning and strategy development.
  • Align closely with global teams to ensure consistency in reporting and analytics practices across regions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to explore new opportunities for business growth, while supporting regional teams with data that addresses local market needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by adhering to industry-standard protocols and compliance regulations.
  • Work with external partners, and stakeholders, providing data-driven recommendations to improve their experience and drive mutual business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with global industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative solutions to improve Kavak's data and analytics capabilities.


Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role, preferably within e-commerce, classifieds, or automotive industries.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI, with experience applying these skills to both local and global contexts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams, aligning local initiatives with global strategies.
  • Solid understanding of business growth strategies, with a focus on translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with the automotive or marketplace industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
