The opportunity

EY MENA CCaSS is actively looking for Senior Consultants to join Rapid Innovation offices in Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad holding experiences in Government/ Infrastructure or Energy Sector (O&G, Power and Utility Industry) along with the consulting experience, including exposure to energy management, HSE management systems, Circular Economy, Biodiversity and Ecology, business model innovation, sustainable supply chain and reporting.

We are at the forefront of current trends in climate change and sustainability, and we engage with clients at all levels to provide insight into these developments. We want candidates who are dedicated and capable of helping us to develop our dynamic sustainability practice that is focused on making the difference for our clients as they navigate this agenda.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will work on multiple client engagements, supporting the project delivery and engagement economics, providing support, developing relationships, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress across a range of industries; Government/ Infrastructure/ Energy (Oil and Gas, Power and Utility, Renewables, etc.). Work with teams in developing and implementing sustainability strategies for clients, focusing on long-term transformation and performance improvement. Analyze regulatory changes, trends, assess organizational strengths and weaknesses, and create solutions to complex business challenges.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, presentation and leadership skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.

To qualify for the role:

• Atleast 4-years of relevant experiences and knowledge in sustainability-related practices, including Circular Economy, ESG, and Climate Action initiatives.
• Graduate degree in a relevant discipline, for example chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering or environmental science. An advanced degree (MSc or MBA) is a plus.
• A good understanding of the issues and opportunities surrounding sustainability and the impact of sustainability on an ever-changing business environment, including knowledge of climate change policies and the carbon market
• Strong technical, quantitative, analytical & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Possess strong client relationship and management skills

• Further studies and / or relevant professional qualifications
