About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Data & AI Solution Architect to join our growing team in Riyadh. This is a pivotal hybrid role that bridges the gap between commercial strategy and technical execution. You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, identifying opportunities to leverage Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Modern Data Platforms to solve complex business challenges.

In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of data initiatives—from crafting compelling proposals and architectural blueprints during the presales phase to overseeing the successful delivery and deployment of scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Presales & Client Engagement

• Consultative Selling: Engage directly with client stakeholders in Riyadh and the wider region to understand their business objectives and translate them into actionable AI, GenAI, and Data Platform use cases.
• Proposal Leadership: Lead the technical response for RFPs and RFIs. Prepare detailed Scopes of Work (SoW), effort estimations, project plans, and commercial cost sheets.
• Proof of Concept (PoC): define and lead rapid PoCs and demos to showcase the capabilities of AI and GenAI solutions, securing stakeholder buy-in.

2. Solution Architecture & Design

• End-to-End Design: Design robust data blueprints and system architectures covering the entire data lifecycle: ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and analytics.
• Cloud Modernization: Architect scalable solutions using modern data stacks and major cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS), focusing on Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and real-time pipelines.
• GenAI Innovation: Design cutting-edge Generative AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.

3. Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Delivery Oversight: Oversee project delivery from the discovery phase through to implementation, testing, deployment, and final handover, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and ML Engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
• Implementation: Guide the technical team in building ETL/ELT pipelines, feature engineering, model deployment, and API integrations.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Education

• 7–12 years of professional experience in Data & AI solutioning, consultancy, and delivery.
• Proven track record in a hybrid role that includes both technical presales (proposals, estimations) and hands-on delivery.

Technical Skills

• Core Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• AI & GenAI: Deep understanding of Machine Learning workflows and Generative AI applications (LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Vector DBs).
• Data Architecture: Expert knowledge of designing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and modern ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).

Professional Competencies

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Project Management: Experience creating project plans and managing the delivery of end-to-end data initiatives.
• Problem Solving: A strategic thinker capable of designing bespoke solutions for enterprise-level challenges.
