Title: Senior Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager/Lead to join our global product team. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can collaborate effectively with global teams and interact confidently with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the engineering strategy by setting goals and prioritizing projects.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process enhancement while staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to the design and development of new products and features.
• Ensure adherence to engineering processes such as code reviews, source control, unit testing, use case analysis, defect management, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Product Managers to provide technical solutions and innovative ideas that meet project requirements.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
• Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; establish connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
• Oversee application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; participate actively in team meetings; troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments and platforms.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure engineering practices and projects comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Resource Management: Manage engineering budgets, resources, and expenses.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 15+ years in Software engineering with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Extensive web development experience in Java.
• Working knowledge of JBOSS Wildfly application server.
• Hands-on experience with JSF and Hibernate.
• Experience with client-side frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Experience with cloud services including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines).
• Excellent understanding of design patterns, coding best practices, standard naming conventions, and security principles.
• Good knowledge of databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL).
• Proficiency in J2EE technologies (e.g., Web Services, JSPs, EJBs, JTA, JPA).
• Experience writing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Spring or Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, object-oriented programming (OOP), and data structures.
