Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer
The EDP group: Editorial, Design and Publishing (EDP) partners with content producers across all divisions and functions to improve insights for clients. We drive innovation alongside standardization to deliver content to clients that is actionable, engaging and brand consistent.
Within EDP, the Transformation and Enablement team works to provide transformative solutions and training to enable teams to reach their optimal levels of functionality. This includes development and maintenance of tools and technology for editing and designing news, research articles, images, maps and data visualizations published and distributed on S&P Global websites and client-only subscription platforms. The role will also involve exploring and integrating Generative AI solutions to enhance content creation, automation, and efficiency in editorial and design workflows.
The impact: This role is essential as it ensures the development of new software solutions and continuous improvement and stability of our existing applications. The role also enables our stakeholders with a seamless user experience, ultimately bolstering their confidence in our services and reinforcing the need to continue growing with and through technology.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain tools and solutions for editorial and publishing processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the developed tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Develop and integrate GenAI solutions to enhance editorial and design workflows, improving content generation and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with data security, ethical guidelines, and company standards for AI-assisted content creation.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities where GenAI can streamline processes and provide efficiencies.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
What we’re looking for
Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and technology for editing and designing news, research articles, images, maps and data visualizations published and distributed on S&P Global websites and client-only subscription platforms. The role will also involve exploring and integrating Generative AI solutions to enhance content creation, automation, and efficiency in editorial and design workflows.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in software development
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript (including React and Typescript experience)
Experience with content management systems (CMS), AWS or Azure Cloud Services, APIs, and cloud platforms
Strong problem-solving abilities
Experience working with globally distributed teams
Excellent communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in digital publishing
Experience with data analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Flourish, Infogram, Plotly)
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
