Senior Fullstack Developer (Wordpress)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer (WordPress) to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom WordPress plugins, themes, and complex backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes.
• Design and optimize databases (MySQL) for high performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing WordPress websites.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of WordPress backend development experience (frontend is plus)
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, WP-CLI, and custom post types.
• Solid understanding of WordPress security best practices.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with server management (e.g., cPanel, WHM, cloud hosting environments)
• Ability to optimize websites for speed and scalability.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with headless WordPress.
• Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
