Simpaisa is hiring for Senior Manager Compliance to ensure that the organizations operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules, to proactively manage compliance risks, and to establish a culture of ethical conduct and regulatory adherence across the company.

- Develop, implement, and oversee the companys compliance program including policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise management on implications, compliance strategies, and implementation.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and manage external regulatory inspections.
- Provide training to staff on regulatory compliance, code of conduct, and internal policies.
- Investigate and report compliance issues, breaches, or potential violations to senior management and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain a risk register and ensure all departments are aligned with compliance goals.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to the COO and other senior leadership.
- Lead the development and execution of annual compliance plans aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic input on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities from a compliance perspective.
- Stay abreast of emerging compliance trends and best practices and apply relevant innovations to enhance program efficiency.
- Ensure documentation, record-keeping, and compliance manuals are always updated and audit-ready
- Bachelors degree, Certification in Compliance (CAMS, ICA, CGSS)
- 4- 6 year of experience in Compliance Department
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and training delivery abilities.
- Experience in designing and implementing compliance programs.
- Leadership skills to manage a team and influence across departments.
- Proficiency with compliance software tools and reporting systems.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements (local and international).
