ABOUT THE ROLE

This position as Senior Manager Network and Technology involves leading the development, implementation, and management of COLABS' technology infrastructure across all sites, ensuring seamless IT service delivery, network uptime, and system efficiency. The Senior Manager Network and Technology will oversee vendor partnerships, enforce security and compliance protocols, and manage costs across all technology tools and solutions. Additionally, the role requires spearheading strategic initiatives, including value-added service (VAS) revenue generation, and driving digital transformation to achieve full automation. As COLABS scales its operations locally and internationally, this leader will play a key role in ensuring the technology systems and infrastructure meet current and future business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technology Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement a forward-thinking technology strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and market trends.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing technology team (engineering, software development, IT, etc.).
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols across all technology systems, ensuring data protection, network security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Cost Control: Manage the costs of all tools, software, and technology solutions across the organization.
• Network & IT Service Delivery: Ensure efficient IT service delivery, improved network uptime, and effective IT complaint management across the organization. Oversee network operations, software services, and technology infrastructure at all COLABS sites.
• Vendor Management: Manage all technology-related vendors, ensuring strong partnerships, performance accountability, and cost efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with the leadership team to drive alignment between technology strategies and business objectives.
• Achieve VAS Revenue Targets: Drive initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets for value-added services (VAS) by leveraging technology solutions.
• Holistic Technology Oversight: Take full oversight of all technology-related matters within the organization, ensuring all systems, networks, and software services are aligned with the company’s broader strategy, until full automation is achieved.
• Management of Technology Systems: Strategically manage all technology systems for COLABS Technologies, ensuring that both current and future technological requirements are met efficiently.
• Conflict & Query Resolution: Address and resolve any technology-related queries, complaints, or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring smooth operations.
• Special Projects: Undertake any other tasks assigned by the CEO or other leadership team members to support the company's growth and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record in managing large-scale technology teams and successful projects.
• Strong background in network and architecture, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience in driving digital transformation and scaling technology platforms in fast-paced environments.
• IT Infrastructure, Network Architecture & Design
• Application / Systems Management like: (Odoo, Nexudus G-Suite)
• Vendor Management
• ISP Management
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, data privacy, and compliance regulations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Deep knowledge of modern infrastructure, networks and security protocols.
• Hands-on experience in implementation and managing ERP systems i.e. Odoo.
• Budget management and resource allocation experience.
