Pakistan's leading Executive Search Firm, The Catalyst Group, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst for our client, Banyan Software. Based out of the Karachi Office, this position will support the M&A Manager.

Banyan Software is a private equity firm specializing in the acquisition and holding of software businesses across North America, the UK, and Australia. We focus on long-term growth and integration.

The Role:

As a Senior Mergers & Acquisition Analyst, you will support the M&A Manager and assist in the due diligence process, conduct valuation analysis, and ensure smooth execution of acquisitions. You will be part of a dynamic team in Karachi, reporting to the M&A Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting preliminary checks on potential acquisition targets
• Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing company information
• Assist in running valuation models and preparing detailed reports
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with due diligence processes
• Report findings & insights to the M&A Manager and other senior team members
• Collaborate with the M&A team to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, or business advisory roles
• Experience with private equity firms or companies that grow through acquisitions is appreciated
• Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or a related field (Master's degree not required)
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on valuation and due diligence
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• 1 PM to 9 PM as per the Toronto Time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
