Senior React Native Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for a strong React Native engineer capable of the following:

• Translating design mocks to pixel perfect UI/UX across iOS and Android.
• Understand how to write clean, scalable and maintainable Javascript code.
• Deep dive into problems and remove performance bottlenecks to overall enhance the UX of the app.
• Must be an excellent problem solver and possess the ability to architect the optimal solution for the requirements.
  
  

The ideal candidate should be a strong individual contributor and team player with a strong leadership sense who can raise the overall quality of the team.

Requirements

• Strong grasp of Javascript including ES6.
• Strong skilled in ReactJS and React Redux.
• Familiar with Typescript.
• Strong skilled in React Native.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle is a must.
• Ability to identify and resolve platform specific issues.

Emumba started in 2011 as a product company with two flagship products: Cricout (a social network around Cricket), and PatientsWithPower (a healthcare platform for cancer patients and treatment hospitals). Both products, though technically successful, were a business failure. Emumba made a pivot to the software services business in 2015 and has never looked back since then. Based out of Islamabad, the company now has 200 people with world class customers.
