About The Role
Were looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a globally distributed team with a critical focus on weekend system reliability and incident response. Youll support the uptime of a high-volume trading platform by owning monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting across complex cloud-native systems.
Youll work closely with engineering and client-facing teams to resolve issues fast and ensure institutional users have a smooth experience. This role demands strong infrastructure skills, autonomy during weekend coverage, and a sharp eye for system stability.

Youll work closely with engineering and client-facing teams to resolve issues fast and ensure institutional users have a smooth experience. This role demands strong infrastructure skills, autonomy during weekend coverage, and a sharp eye for system stability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain reliability and performance of production systems, especially during weekends.
- Respond to incidents, triage system issues, and implement fixes autonomously.
- Own observability pipelines: monitoring, logging, alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Participate in on-call rotation (Thursday to Monday schedule).
- Build infrastructure automation to reduce manual operations (e.g., with Terraform).
- Collaborate with Engineering and Client Support teams to resolve production-impacting issues.
- Improve system scalability and fault tolerance across AWS or GCP environments.
- Lead post-incident reviews and develop runbooks and response playbooks.
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS or GCP (e.g., EC2, Lambda, GKE).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Able to work independently during weekends with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or 24/7 mission-critical systems.
- Familiarity with Execution Management Systems (EMS) or Portfolio Management Systems (PMS).
- Experience working alongside account managers or product teams.
- Familiarity with Datadog, serverless architecture, or NoSQL databases.
- Be a key part of a globally scaling fintech with a bold vision for institutional crypto infrastructure.
- Competitive compensation (PKR 750,000 - 1,000,000 per month)
- Hybrid work setup (3+ days/week in Lahore office)
