We’re looking for an imaginative Social Video Content Creator to bring Dobby’s brand to life across YouTube, LinkedIn, website and more. If you love visual storytelling, know what hooks an audience in the first 3 seconds, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, edit, and produce short-form clips, reels, stories, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes for YouTube (incl. Shorts), LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Create subtitles, hooks, and thumbnails that drive watch-time and clicks.
- Develop creative concepts aligned with our marketing objectives, brand voice, and content calendar.
- Repurpose long-form footage (podcasts/webinars) into bite-size assets and carousels.
- Maintain a cohesive look and tone across all content; evolve our style guide as we grow.
- Publish natively, spark conversations, and build a community around our brand in the coffee industry.
- Track performance (view-through, retention, CTR) and iterate for impact.
- Partner with marketing, design, and product to ensure content supports key campaigns.
- Proven track record creating social-first video content (please share your reel/portfolio).
- Proficiency in editing tools
- Strong understanding of platform best practices, especially short-form.
- Killer storytelling instincts and a sharp eye for framing, pacing, and design.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and ship on deadline in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
- English Fluency
- Motion graphics or graphic design chops (Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma/Canva).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (native insights, YouTube Studio, etc.).
- Experience creating for a niche/industry B2B, SaaS
- Comfort with tools like Riverside or Opus Clip.
