Software Automation Engineer (Cypress + JavaScript)

This is a full-time employee position. The position is in-office in Valencia Town, Lahore with working hours from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Mon – Fri).

Job Description:

As a Software Automation Engineer, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for developing and implementing automated testing strategies, emphasizing proficiency in Cypress, JavaScript, Github, and JIRA.

Responsibilities:

• Create test scripts to automate the testing process and streamline overall design and performance verification testing.
• Develop automated tests using Cypress.
• Apply manual testing techniques and JavaScript for test scripts.
• Utilize Git for code management and integrate tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Employ JIRA for effective project management and issue resolution.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Cypress, manual testing, JavaScript, Git, CI/CD, and JIRA.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of testing medium to large software systems.
• Knowledge and experience in working with Agile development methodology.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Being proactive and taking ownership of work

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Software testing certifications (preferred).
