Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Applications Architect with expertise in Blue Yonder (formerly JDA/RedPrairie) Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing support of WMS deployments. This role requires strong IT leadership skills, hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS, and a deep understanding of supply chain management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Resource to have wide skill set/knowledge and professional experience in supply chain management covering transportation, warehousing, contract logistics, manufacturing/MRP, reverse logistics, supply chain planning, source/procurement, contract manufacturing (both domestic and internationally) 3PL experience and work history a plus.
• Technical IT lead for designing, implementing, and supporting WMS deployments. Will be the subject matter expert in using, understanding, and explaining Blue Yonder WMS and any prerequisite systems leading to the platform/module implementations. Role will be the WMS SME for all system design, configuration, development, and on-going IT support strategy.
• Blue Yonder WMS administration, IT support, and business process validation.
• Project lead working with developers to implement required functionality and system requirements to meet customer needs. Experience in managing the SDLC (software development lifecycle) a plus.
• WMS application strategic planning activities (key participant and input resource). Stay up to date on current and future Blue Yonder WMS versions, execution technologies, capabilities and trends. Lead and participate in application research and development activities for the company. Lead and facilitate team training (both technical and non-technical) in various logistic applications.
• Lead client IT solution development and in some cases working directly with the client in collaboration with operations and engineering to establish application, systems, and process requirements. Lead technical workshops to assess process and system requirements. Conduct client gap analysis and solution consultancy using Schenker technology tools. Experience in warehousing and distribution operations
  
  

Must-Have Skills And Relevant Experience

• Must have SQL, MOCA, and JAVA experience
• Supply Chain Management includes transportation, warehousing, contract logistics, manufacturing/MRP, reverse logistics, supply chain planning, source/procurement, contract manufacturing.
• WMS deployments in Blude Yonder
• Blue Yonder WMS administration
• Translating business requirements into IT requirements and creation of BRD (Business Requirements Document) and FBR (Functional Business Requirements)
• SDLC (software development lifecycle)
• SQL
• Integration and B2B messaging, B2B protocols like Ax way XIB, Software AG, Web Methods
• EDI fact, IDOC, EDI X12, JSON, API, ANSI X12, FTP

• Moca, SQL mandatory. Java can be optional. If candidates having experience on MOCA, he will have exp. on Java, still Java is optional.
