About the Role
Demand Planner - Drive Smart Forecasting at Mous
We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Demand Planner to be a part of our expanding team in Pakistan! As we grow both steadily and swiftly, we're embarking on numerous new projects. For these ventures, we require an enthusiastic individual who can. We’re hiring a Demand Planner who’s ready to turn data into direction and insights into action.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of demand forecasting, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional alignment, working closely with Commercial, Operations, and Production teams to ensure our stock levels match business needs.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
- This role sits within the Demand Planning team alongside Ali (Apple Cases) and Hassan (Soft Goods & Travel).
- This includes working cross-functionally with the product, commercial, and production teams across different time zones and cultures.
- Own the monthly S&OP forecast cycle for your assigned product categories ensuring all key stakeholders are involved at the appropriate points
- Through the S&OP forecast cycle maximise the opportunity to use sea freight over air for your assigned product categories
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure that demand planning reflects planned NPD launches and trading promo’s for your assigned product categories
- Own the annual SKU rationalisation process for your product categories
- Work closely with the China operations team, providing them with at least a rolling 12 month plan for all product categories to support supply chain efficiencies
- Maintain optimal stock levels and availability for your assigned product categories through the demand planning process and collaboration with the commercial and marketplace teams to effectively clear overstocks and manage potential out of stock instances
- Own the S&OP section for your assigned product categories in the Monthly Operations meeting
- Own all weekly reporting and related meetings for your assigned product categories, including actual vs demand performance, overstock, understock and ordering, ensuring that you communicate effectively with the Commercial team to drive and manage SKU performance and availability.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the department.
Hard skills:
- Proven experience in demand planning or sales forecasting, ideally handling a diverse and extensive SKU portfolio.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work confidently with large datasets, extracting, simplifying, and presenting insights in a clear, actionable format.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and predict the performance of new products and SKUs (e.g., new color variants or product lines).
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders to understand strategic sales expectations and incorporate qualitative insights into quantitative forecasts.
- Skilled in translating business goals and stakeholder input into accurate, data-driven demand plans.
- Confident and proactive communicator
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented and highly organised
- Culturally aware and collaborative
- Professional with a good sense of humour (team fit is very important)
- Industry experience at companies like Unilever, Amazon, or similar
- Previous experience in tech/D2C/CPG product environment
- Exposure to product launch cycles and seasonal planning
