The Division: Perseus WinTech (a division of Constellation Software Inc) is dedicated to being the software standard for defined benefit pension and other post-employment benefit (OPEB) plans. WinTech’s customer base includes some of the world’s top actuarial consultants, investment consulting firms, accounting firms, plan sponsors, plan administrators, and insurance companies The Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQA Analyst with actuarial experience to join our research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both QA methodologies and actuarial science, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for actuarial software written in APL.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and document software defects.
• Validate actuarial calculations and ensure the accuracy of financial models within the software.
• Work closely with actuaries and developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
• Maintain and update QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and actuarial science.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-5 years proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on actuarial software.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in APL programming language.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software
