SQA Engineer

DevDimensions is seeking a dynamic SQA Engineer to lead innovation and shape our tech vision!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and objectives.
• Develop and document detailed test plans outlining scope, objectives, and strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and data for functional, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Execute test cases, systematically record results, and log defects in a tracking system.
• Perform regression testing to ensure updates do not introduce new defects or impact existing features.
• Contribute to test automation by developing and maintaining automated test scripts using relevant tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, cases, and results, ensuring accessibility for team members.
• Work with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business analysts) to align on requirements and quality goals.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging methodologies, suggesting process improvements.
• Generate and share detailed test reports to keep stakeholders informed of testing progress and issues.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• 6 months 1 year of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (bonus).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
