Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting system software and hardware, ensuring the stability and security of our networked environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and other Windows server roles.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network.
- Implement and maintain data backup, disaster recovery, and system security strategies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
- Configure and maintain virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to support technical needs and resolve issues.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for IT support tickets and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and IT security best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms, and network protocols.
- Experience with cloud services (Azure, Alibaba) is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Certifications like MCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, or VMware are advantageous.
