About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System and Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This full-time, onsite position at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore, involves maintaining and optimizing the companys systems and networks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network hardware, and system software
• Monitor system performance and network traffic to identify and resolve issues
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Document network configurations, system changes, and standard operating procedures
• Assist in planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades and improvements
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 24 years of experience in system and network administration
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, LAN/WAN architecture, and IP addressing
• Experience with network devices: Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, or MikroTik
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and firewall configurations
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
