Technical Project Lead

A Project Lead is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from start to finish. You will handle resource coordination, manage timelines, and ensure the quality and success of each project. As a key team player, you will be responsible for setting and achieving project objectives, managing client and team interactions, and ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders. You will act as a subject matter expert, taking charge of the day-to-day operations, overseeing task execution, and organizing all project-related details. Additionally, you will be the liaison between team members and management, ensuring all resources are effectively utilized, risks are mitigated, and the project stays on track to meet deadlines and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Project Lifecycle: Manage end-to-end project processes, from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Project Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, adaptable to a startup environment.
- Team Leadership: Lead team meetings, track progress, and identify and address potential risks. Assign tasks based on strengths, set deadlines, and adjust plans as required.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure effective communication with clients, managers, team members, and cross-functional departments, keeping everyone informed and aligned.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Analyze risks, leverage opportunities, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure projects meet standards and requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to drive project efficiency and adapt to evolving needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including detailed plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Sprint and Retrospective Planning: Plan and facilitate sprint planning sessions and conduct retrospectives to identify continuous improvement areas.
- Resource Management: Evaluate and optimize resource allocation and project KPIs to enhance project performance.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Timeline and Budget Management: Create project plans, establish ETAs, track Actual vs. Estimated progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
- Deadline Achievement: Effectively multitask and prioritize projects, guiding teams to meet project deadlines, and demonstrating flexibility and dedication to deliver on tight deadlines when necessary.
- Performance and Satisfaction Goals: Achieve key performance metrics, including on-time delivery, budget adherence, client satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Proven 3+ experience in project management, ideally in startup or fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relations and team coordination.
- Ability to adapt, take initiative, and contribute in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Clickup, Trello etc.)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiar with Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- Professional certifications
