Overview

Under direction from Company management and agricultural experts, support farmers toproduce CS that meets standards of PepsiCo.

Responsibilities

• Crop scouting and follow ups.
• Farm advisory service and help farmers from sowing till harvesting and handling
• Ensure that good agricultural practices are followed on the farms producing potatoes for PepsiCo
• Provide visibility of crop performance in the field and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in training and other forms of Best Practices transfer to the Pakistan farmers.
• Help LM in variety trials, evaluation and other research as and when required.
• New area/geography development to produce disease free quality CS
• SQA Journey with CS and chip stock traceability from CS to finish goods.
• Training to field team and farmers staff on crop best practices-
• Use of the agro machinery and field operation solution for WIN WIN, as cost effective and Quality management.
• Under direction, manage specific potato projects and programs
• Help farmers in better crop management
• Help CS Development Manager (SDM) in AOP volumes procurements
• Help SDM in potato variety field trials in Pakistan
• Farms visits and advisory efficacy
• Field testing, data collection, growers complaint handling
• General advisory to growers without recommendation of any brands
• Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time totime assigned by the manager.
  
  

Qualifications

Knowledge / Skill: Experience: Competencies:B.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Sc. (Hons.) AgricultureKnowledge of potato growing area, farmers and crop managementTechnical know-how about different pests and their control.Fluent in local languagesComputer SkillsWith 1 / 2 years’ experience at supervisory level with any pesticide/CS company or 2–3-year experience with Agro base field work.Collaborates well with others to deliver resultsConsistently works against the right priorities Demonstrates perseverance and resilience in the pursuit of goalsDisplays responsible and ethical behavior towards customers, suppliers and others in the organization
