Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, solutions-driven team player to support benefit administration for our clients. This role includes setting up groups in online enrollment systems, assisting brokers and clients, performing data entry tasks, and supporting a wide range of small employers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Account Manager with daily tasks, including coordinating renewals, performing data entry, and collaborating with the Team Lead.
  • Review and manage the book of business to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Process client renewals by extracting data from carrier websites, updating agency CIS sheets, and importing necessary documentation into the client tracking system.
  • Build and maintain strong broker relationships by delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve processes and systems.
  • Handle sensitive client information with the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Support additional tasks as needed.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience with Ease, Employee Navigator, or other benefit administration platforms.
  • Background in health insurance or experience working with insurance carriers (e.g., United Healthcare, Regence, Blue Cross, SelectHealth, Humana).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Solid understanding of insurance policies, terminology, and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills—patient, empathetic, and solutions-focused.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptable and open to learning new systems and regulations.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools, including CRM systems (Epic), e-signature tools (Indio), document management (Excel), and digital communication platforms.
  • Culturally sensitive and able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must have a home office setup with a computer, Wi-Fi, and dual monitors.
