Your Responsibilities

Main Accountabilities





  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with business growth strategies.


    • Build and nurture sustainable, trusting relationships through a well-coordinated and highly competent sales force.
    • Directly contribute to country revenue and profit objectives by achieving targeted growth rates and enhancing market share as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
    • Ensure full adoption and implementation of the Global Sales Process (GSP) across all sales channels to enhance professionalism and differentiation at the point of sale.
    • Implement best-in-class sales processes and systems to create a competitive advantage for both DHL and its customers.
    • Lead and drive sales improvement through regionally standardized processes and initiatives, including the Global Sales Process (GSP), Sales Stimulation Programs, and Sales Training & Development.


    Stakeholder Management


    • Monitor and analyze competitor activities to strengthen strategic market positioning.
    • Build and maintain relationships with trade associations and industry bodies to enhance market influence.
    • Support sales leaders in improving sales efficiency through structured audits and training programs.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager – AP to establish best-in-class sales capabilities across all sales channels.


    People Management





  • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales function.


    • Develop and implement efficient organizational structures and resource allocation plans.
    • Establish Individual Key Objectives (IKOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor team performance.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, including the Management Development and Performance Review (MDPR) and Performance Evaluation and Appraisal Process (PEAP).
    • Identify training needs and provide learning opportunities to enhance team capabilities.


    YOUR PROFILE

    Education & Experience


    • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g. MBA) is preferred.
    • At least 10-12 years of experience in a leadership role within the logistics, courier, or transportation industry.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and growing a business in a competitive environment.

    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis-management capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
