About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Writing Counsellor to join the team. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping students craft compelling and impactful college application essays, personal statements, and fulfill other writing components.

Location: Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with students to understand their academic goals, interests, and unique life experiences
• Guide students through the brainstorming and writing process for essays and personal statements, bringing a keen passion for creative writing, idea formation, and storytelling to help them present the best versions of themselves
• Provide constructive feedback and editing support to refine students' writing for clarity, flow, critical thinking, and persuasiveness
• Ensure all writing adheres to specific college application requirements and deadlines
• Maintain open communication with students and address any concerns or questions
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in college application writing
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, or a related field
• Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
• Prior experience in teaching or coaching writing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust with students from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with the US college application process is a plus
