3D Generalist

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled 3D Generalist with 3+ years of experience in mobile game development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the entire 3D art pipeline, including modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and optimization. This role requires hands-on experience with Unity and the ability to create high-quality, game-ready assets while ensuring optimal performance for mobile platforms.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Multimedia, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Generalist, 3D Artist, or a similar role in the gaming industry
• Proven experience working on mobile game projects
• Strong portfolio showcasing game-ready 3D assets, environments, characters, and animations

• Strong expertise in Unity (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
• Strong understanding of:
• 3D Modeling
• Texturing
• UV Mapping
• Material Creation
• Rendering
• Lighting
• Animation
• Asset Integration in Unity
• Experience with texture optimization, atlasing, and mobile asset optimization
• Good understanding of animation workflows in both Unity and 3D software
• Strong knowledge of performance optimization for mobile games
• Familiarity with mobile game art pipelines and production workflows
• Knowledge of Spine 2D is a plus
• Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows is a plus
  
  

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D assets, including characters, environments, props, vehicles, UI-related 3D elements, and other game assets
• Own and manage the complete 3D art pipeline from concept interpretation to final implementation in Unity
• Produce optimized game-ready models, textures, materials, shaders, and animations for mobile platforms
• Create and refine character rigs and animations while ensuring smooth in-game performance
• Design and implement lighting setups to enhance visual quality and player experience
• Optimize models, textures, materials, and animations for mobile devices without compromising quality
• Perform texture atlasing, LOD creation, mesh optimization, and memory optimization
• Import, integrate, and maintain assets within Unity projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve visual, rendering, animation, and asset-related issues during development
• Review and improve existing assets to enhance quality and performance
• Contribute to the development and improvement of art pipelines, workflows, and best practices
• Utilize AI-assisted tools and emerging technologies where appropriate to streamline content creation
