Accounts and Finance Manager - Work Together

Our client Work Together is hiring a Accounts and Finance Manager in Rawalpindi.

Job Overview:

The Accounts and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the company's financial well-being and compliance with relevant regulations. This role includes managing accounting operations, producing financial reports, analyzing financial data to guide strategy, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Manage the process of financial review and analysis and assist in developing finance strategies.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure efficient audit processes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accounts and Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience in financial management software and accounting procedures.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formula construction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
- Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is an advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance management or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Work Setting:

- This is a full-time, on-site position requiring commitment to standard business hours. Flexibility to handle any financial emergencies or deadlines outside of these hours may be necessary.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to drive goals and manage cross-functional projects.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
