Designer - Processing ( Digital Printing)

Our client Kohinoor Textile Mills is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer - Processing (Digital Printing) to join our dynamic team in Rawalpindi. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and optimize digital artwork for various digital printing applications, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Manage and execute prepress operations, including file checking, color correction, and layout adjustments using RIP software and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Implement effective color management strategies to achieve accurate and consistent color reproduction across different print materials and devices.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any design or file-related issues that may arise during the print production process.
• Maintain detailed records of print jobs, file versions, and material specifications for efficient workflow management and future reference.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in digital printing and design, recommending improvements to existing processes and workflows.
• Ensure all prepared files are correctly formatted and ready for the printing machines, minimizing downtime and waste.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or a Diploma in Fine Arts.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a digital printing or graphic design role with a focus on print production.
• Proficiency in Digital Printing, Color Management, and Prepress Operations.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with RIP Software.
• Strong understanding of File Preparation, Print Production, and Material Knowledge relevant to digital printing.
• Solid grasp of Color Theory, Layout Design principles, and impeccable Attention to Detail.
• Proven Problem Solving and Time Management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent Communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Digital Printing Specialist Certification.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Workflow Optimization in a printing environment.
