Job Purpose

To carry out all delegated HSE activities across the designated plant, ensuring operations adhere to both internal guidelines and external regulatory standards and legislation

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Work within the assigned plant to ensure adherence to all regulatory standards related to HSE through routine inspections to assess compliance
  • Continuously assess the workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to the Plant Manager
  • Regularly communicate with the manufacturing team in the plant to address any quality-related issues, implementing response protocols to identify and rectify quality deviations in collaboration with the Operations Manager
  • Monitor and report on safety-related incidents, ensuring a thorough investigation and implementation of corrective actions
  • Conduct the HSE induction for new joiners to introduce the latest HSE standards, policies, and procedures of NFL
  • Plan and deliver workshops to educate management and employees on HSE policies and guidelines, addressing any non-compliance in a timely manner
  • Ensure emergency response plans are fully implemented and carry out drills in the plant to ensure employees understand protocols and procedures in the event of an emergency
  • Oversee the provision of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and related HSE apparatus such as uniforms, first aid, fire extinguishers, etc. for safety assurance
  • Report any safety-related incidents to the HSE Manager to further investigate and facilitate decision-making
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all HSE-related activities to the HSE Manager, providing updates on compliance, incidents, and improvement initiatives
  • Keep updated on the latest developments in quality, health, and safety standards to ensure NFL adopts best practices consistently

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 4-6 years of experience preffered.
