Assistant Manager - Finance

Software Finder is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Finance to manage end-to-end accounting operations for the local entity. This role will be responsible for transaction recording, month-end closing, financial reporting, cost analysis, reconciliations, and tax compliance, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to Pakistan tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee regular transaction recording and ensure accurate bookkeeping
• Manage month-end closing activities within set timelines
• Prepare and maintain the monthly reporting deck
• Conduct cost analysis to support business decision-making
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, vendor, and intercompany)
• Prepare and file withholding tax (WHT) returns in compliance with applicable laws
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan tax laws and accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (ACCA/CA/CMA part-qualified or equivalent preferred)
• Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan tax laws, particularly withholding tax regulations
• Expertise in Xero and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience managing month-end close and reconciliations
• Prior exposure to annual audit processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
